Bastinado fuses the most cutting-edge piece of European musical technology, the Reactable Live with the ancient sounds of the didgeridoo. Bastinado's shows are all original music that is arranged 'on the fly' and in a continuous mix, featuring Josh Harris on Reactable Live and Joseph B. Carringer on didgeridoo.

The duo describes their music as inspired by the EDM that they grew up listening to, but with a modern twist. They are fans of musical greats such as The Chemical Brothers, The Crystal Method, and The Prodigy to Paul van Dyk, Sasha and Digweed, BT and Orbital. While they view themselves as a band, they are absolutely influenced by the full spectrum of electronic music culture. Mixing guitars and edgy synths with the didgeridoo creates an energy that is on par with a live rock band.
